We cannot live for ourselves alone.  Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return as results.

~Herman Melville

Wendy Grandell, a high school English teacher, has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.  Her platform includes the Boys & Girls Clubs, working towards the educational success of children, especially for at-risk students. Once being labeled an "at-risk" student, Wendy has been driven to fulfill her dream of helping other students succeed and in turn make their dreams come true.  Enjoy every moment in life, love what you do and it will shine through.  This is a motto that Wendy exudes in her classroom and her students take to heart.

Special interests and community involvement include the Boys & Girls Clubs, she is actively working on the auctions committee for the annual Chrysalis Gala held in Frisco, Texas, benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs (BGCCC) is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Additionally, Wendy is involved in her church’s children's and women’s ministry programs.
